All About Mitchell Gibb

Mitchell tells us that he is from a military background. His father got the VC is Germany..at least he thinks that is what the Doctor said!!!!
His uncle was gassed in the trenches and his cousin was blitzed in Clydebank..but that was only last week.

On the home front, Mitchell hails from Airdrie where he attended Airdrie Academy and the local approved school. His father took him every morning – they were in the same class!!

Employed by North Lanarkshire Council, Mitchell makes it his policy never to look out of the office in the morning – if he did he would have nothing to do in the afternoon.

A life-long fan of football, sometime player and erstwhile manager, Mitchell now contents himself with attending the games and talking about them from the commentary box where listeners are regaled with witty one-liners, cynical humour and the occasional glimpse of what is actually happening on the park.

With assurances that every word he utters is absolutely true he tells the most incredible stories with a straight face and expects the audience to swallow them hook, line and sinker. The miracle is that they do, time after time and keep coming back for more.
